Jono Meldrum established Holdfast Projects in 2022.
Jono has a military, engineering, and emergency management background. He has authored operational documentation and facilitated exercises across these spheres.
Jono is grounded in the real world and knows what works.
Experience and Qualifications
Jono is a graduate of Royal Military College (Duntroon), holds a BE(Civil) from the University of New South Wales and a Master of Construction from Massey University. He is a Certified Emergency Manager with the International Association of Emergency Managers and obtained accredited controller status with the Ministry of Civil Defence and Emergency Management (now NEMA).
Jono's military experience included operational tours to Afghanistan and South Sudan, and post-disaster deployments in New Zealand and the Pacific. With the Bay of Plenty Civil Defence Emergency Management Group he was heavily involved in numerous regional and national disaster responses.
Professional memberships are maintained with Engineering New Zealand, the International Association of Emergency Managers, and the Technical Communicators Association of New Zealand.
